Code name, West, was born December 14, 2013. Born in the West coast in Los Angeles, California, as our first child, she brought never seen joy and challenges all at the same time.

East, joined in on the fun while we were living in Staten Island, New York. Born also in the month of December, specifically arriving on December 08, 2015. 

Our children has been the best life has offered us. 

In May of 2018, after Nonye completed her medical residency in New York, our family embarked on an exciting new chapter by moving to the beautiful state of Texas. We packed our belongings, bid farewell to the familiar sights of the city, and eagerly set off for our new home.

Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of New York, we were drawn to Texas as we liked the idea of living here and also Nonye's fellowship was here. Little did we know that this move would not only bring us to a new state but also mark the beginning of a wonderful journey that would shape our lives.

As Nonye transitioned from her medical residency to her new role as a GI fellow, Texas proved to be an ideal destination. The state boasts a robust healthcare system and a multitude of opportunities in the medical field. Nonye quickly found her place among talented colleagues and embraced the chance to contribute to the health and well-being of the Texan community.

Ifeanyi transitioned well, from his role in New York with Verizon and was able to continue working within his current profession but now with a focus around retention for small, medium and strategic business accounts within the DFW areas. 

Beyond professional prospects, Texas offered a diverse and rich culture that captivated our hearts. We immersed ourselves in Texan traditions, from savoring delicious barbecue and Tex-Mex cuisine to attending lively events. The state's natural beauty was also a constant source of awe, as we explored the expansive landscapes, majestic parks, and charming small towns.

Four years have passed since that momentous move, and Texas has become more than just a geographical location—it has become our home. We have cultivated deep friendships, embraced the Texan way of life, and witnessed our children thrive in their new surroundings. Texas has provided us with the perfect blend of professional growth, cultural experiences, and a strong sense of community.

Reflecting on our decision to move from New York to Texas after Nonye's residency, we are filled with gratitude for the opportunities that unfolded. Texas has truly exceeded our expectations, and we are excited for the future that awaits us in our beloved Lone Star State.

At current date, Nonye is an attending and Ifeanyi is currently working with Microsoft.
